What is Bluetooth pairing and why is it required? |
Bluetooth pairing is a process in which two Bluetooth devices communicate with each other through an established connection. In CSR Harmony, this connection is made when a key (a pairing code) is entered on both devices during connection. See Adding a Bluetooth device.
To pair, devices must be discoverable, that is, the device is placed into a mode where it is able to be detected by other Bluetooth devices within range. Refer to the documentation that came with your device to enable discoverable mode on your device. |

What if I can't find the pairing code? |
If the pairing code is not displayed on your device or on-screen in CSR Harmony, then many devices ship with a default pairing code. This may be 0000 or 1234.
Refer to the documentation that came with your device. |
