Submitting problem programs to Jitit

If you are having technical difficulties with Thinstall and a specific software application, please submit your software using our online support system .

Before submitting a program to Jitit for testing, please run down the following check list.

Before submitting

· If you are using an old version of Thinstall, please download and try the latest version before submitting - the problem may already be fixed. You can find out what version you are using by running Thinstall and using the Help->About option. You can find out which version of Thinstall is the latest by visiting : http://thinstall.com/downloads

What to submit

1. We will need a ZIP'ed copy of your project archive. What is a project archive?
2. Also include any documents, screenshots, or procedures needed to reproduce the problem you are experiencing.

How to submit your ZIP file:

1. Login into thinstall.com, using the "Customer Login" link in the upper left.
2. Open a new trouble ticket and describe the problem you are having
3. Attach the ZIP file you created with the support issue.
If you cannot upload your file through the web browser you may also upload using FTP:
You can upload your ZIP file directly to our server by using FTP:
· ftp address : thinstall.com
· ftp username : thinstall
· ftp password : thinstall
After you have uploaded files through FTP, create a new support ticket and let us know the filename you uploaded and the problem to be investigated.


For high security needs, you can use our PGP Public key to encrypt your data prior to transmission.
