Gravity's "kill" thread marks only the current articles in the thread as read, it does not "kill" later incoming articles. "Use Ignore Thread" (see below) to kill future incoming articles as well.

·       Mark Thread As Unread - Mark all articles in the current thread as unread.

·       Mark Thread As Important - Mark all articles in the current thread as important and sets the "Important" article icon (red exclamation) in the thread display.

·       Mark Thread As Normal - Turn off the "Important" icon in the display for the articles that belong in the same thread as the currently selected article.

·       Mark Thread As Protected - Protect all articles in the display that belong in the same thread as the currently selected article. When an article is protected, it cannot be deleted or purged until it is marked as deletable. If the local bodies are not stored, Gravity will offer to tag them for retrieval. To save the bodies you will have to "retrieve tagged articles" (You don't have to save bodies but the articles will expire on the server eventually)

·       Mark Thread As Deletable - Remove protection from all articles in the display that belong in the same thread as the currently selected article. You can not purge or delete the article until the protection is removed.
