SHOW PLUGINS Syntax
SHOW PLUGINS displays information about server plugins. Plugin information is also available in the INFORMATION_SCHEMA.PLUGINS table. See , "The INFORMATION_SCHEMA PLUGINS Table".

SHOW PLUGINS returns the following columns:
Name: The name used to refer to the plugin in statements such asINSTALL PLUGINandUNINSTALL PLUGIN.Status: The plugin status, one ofACTIVE,INACTIVE,DISABLED, orDELETED.Type: The type of plugin, such asSTORAGE ENGINE,INFORMATION_SCHEMA, orAUTHENTICATION.Library: The name of the plugin shared object file. This is the name used to refer to the plugin file in statements such asINSTALL PLUGINandUNINSTALL PLUGIN. This file is located in the directory named by theplugin_dirsystem variable. If the library name isNULL, the plugin is compiled in and cannot be uninstalled withUNINSTALL PLUGIN.License: How the plugin is licensed; for example,GPL.
For plugins installed with INSTALL PLUGIN, the Name and Library values are also registered in the mysql.plugin table.
