The Default Filter

Gravity has one global default display filter, which by default is "Unread Articles" When you change groups, or start the program, Gravity switches to the default display filter. This behavior can be altered.
Why Can't I See Articles I Read Before?
Because the default filter shows only "Unread" articles. You have to switch to another filter, such as "All Articles".
Set or Change the Default Filter
The default filter has a special icon. To see the default filter, or set another filter as the default, click the "Filter" button on the filter bar , The default filter icon has an icon pointing to the right, as shown beside the "Unread Articles" filter below. You can set another filter as the default by selecting another filter and clicking the "Default" button.
Keyboard Command
The default filter is special, and has a keyboard command:
CTRL+SHIFT+A will switch between the All Articles filter and the Default Filter
Newsgroup Overrides (Link a Filter to a Group)
You can override the global default filter and set a default filter for individual newsgroups in "Newsgroup - Properties - Filter." The linked filter will be applied automatically when opening these groups, rather than the default filter (provided the filters are not "locked").
