| Retrieve headers for all subscribed groups upon connecting
| Gravity will retrieve articles from all subscribed groups when it starts up. Gravity cycles through each of the groups and retrieves new articles. You can omit specific groups from the list on a per-group basis (see Newsgroup Properties).

| Check this box to retrieve bodies for all tagged articles after connecting to the news server.

| Limit Headers
| You can set a server limit for the maximum number of headers to be retrieved for any group at one time (you can always get more manually). This limit can be overridden on a per-group basis (Newsgroup Properties).

| Include cross-post data when retrieving headers
| Include extra cross-posting information when retrieving headers. This slows retrieval, but allows Gravity to mark all cross posted copies of an article as read when you read (or delete) any one of them. If left unchecked, the copies of an article cross-posted to other newsgroups are only marked read when you actually view them.

| Verify local headers when retrieving new headers
| When this option is set you will rarely (maybe never) see expired articles. Gravity will ask the news server for a list of all of the article numbers available in the group at the end of each header retrieval phase. This option is useful but can slow the retrieval process. If you have a slow connection you can turn this off and speed things up. This option is best used for (small to normal sized) text groups. If you are subscribed to large binary groups on this server do not enable it more details . If you do not enable this option, you can use the "Verify Local Headers" command on the Newsgroup menu from time to time when it is evident that there are expired articles in the header list.

| Server creates messages out of order
| The option can be used with news servers that are part of server farms. Enabling the option causes Gravity to keep requesting articles that appear to be missing. It is normally not enabled. |
