Add a Score Entry with Quick Score

Quick Score - This is the fastest way to add a scoring entry is to use the Add Score Entry command. Quick Score will add the score phrase under the current newsgroup. It also has an option to re-score the current immediately.
Keyboard: ' S'
You can also find it in the menu Tools - Scoring - Add Scoring Entry

"S" will open the Word/Phrase Score dialog, which is similar to the dialog in the main scoring window with these differences.

·      This dialog offers an option to immediately re-score the current group. Otherwise you will have to .

·      There is also a shortcut to the .
The behavior is slightly different from the main scoring "Add Word" dialog:
·      When you add a word with Quick Score (S),  the word is added under the current newsgroup. Gravity will create a score group with that name if one does not exist. If you want the word to be scored in all groups, or a score group, use the button labeled "Main Scoring Dialog"
For example: Assume the current news group is news.software.readers.  Press 'S' and enter a score phrase of "gravity" . If we open the main scoring dialog, Gravity has created a score group for news.software.readers and put our new gravity entry in that group.

Scoring Article Bodies
If BODY is selected, it behaves differently depending on whether you are storing article bodies or headers only.

·      If you are storing bodies locally, the score will be assigned immediately.·      If you are storing headers only, you will not see a score assigned until after the article is actually read (the body has been fetched). You may not see the score assigned until: 1) the display filter is reapplied, 2) the group is reopened, or 3) the group is re-scored. Regardless of the method, the article must have been read.
