View Next Unread Article (N) Moves to the next unread article and displays it.
View Previous Article Moves to the previous unread article and displays it. This command is not listed in the menu, but has a toolbar button.
View Next Unread in Thread (E) Moves to the next unread article in the thread and displays it.
View Next Unread Local (B) Moves to the next unread local article (the article body is stored) and displays it.
Skip to Next Unread Local (Shift+B) Moves to the next unread local article, but does not open it.
Next Local
Moves to the next local article (read or unread), but does not open it. There is no menu or keyboard command for this button.
Next (D) Moves to the next article in the thread pane list, regardless of how it is sorted or the read/unread status, and displays it. There is no keyboard command but the “D” key does the same thing.
Skip to Next Unread Article (Shift+N) Moves to the next unread article, but does not open that article. Open the article with ENTER, SPACEBAR, or the mouse.
Skip to Next Unread in Thread (Shift+E) Moves to the next unread article in the thread, but does not open that article.
Up One Article (U) Moves up one article in the thread pane list, regardless of how it is sorted or the read/unread status, and displays it.
Down One Article (D) Moves down one article in the thread pane list, regardless of how it is sorted or the read/unread status, and displays it.
More (Page with Space Bar) Advance through a newsgroup using the Space bar to page through the article(s), similar to the "more" DOS/UNIX commands. You can continue through the entire newsgroup this way using one key. The behavior of this command is affected by the settings under Tools - Global Options - Navigation (under Single Key Read). This command is rarely used from the menu. Note that space pages through the articles shown by the current display filter.
· The usual desired setting in "Global Options - Navigation Tab" "After Single Key Read" is "View Next Unread" This will advance to the next unread article when the end of the current article is reached.
· Depending on your mouse model, you might be able to program one of the mouse buttons, like a side button, to page.
Back (Alt+Left Arrow) Works like the Back button in a web browser – it loads the previously viewed article into the display.
Forward (Alt+Right Arrow) Works like the Forward button in a web browser – moves to the article that was viewed after the article you are currently viewing.
v Standard Keyboard Keys. These keys work in the pane that has focus. (you can set focus in the different panes at any time with the 1, 2, and 3 number keys, in addition to the mouse)
Keyboard Up Arrow Moves up through the articles in the thread pane list. Does not display the article.
Keyboard Down Arrow Moves down through the articles in the thread pane list. Does not display the article.
Keyboard Page Up / Page Down Moves one “page” up or down.
