Custom Headers and X-Faces

There are three places to enter any custom header, like X-No-Archive: or X-Face:

·      Tools - Global Options - Posting - Custom Headers. These are included in *all* posts and follow-ups, unless over-ridden by a newsgroup override.

·      Newsgroup - Properties - Overrides Tab. This overrides any custom settings in global options and apply only to the selected newsgroup.

·      In the Compose  Window. Click "Advanced Fields" where you can add a header to a single post.
Important Notes

·      Gravity can NOT handle custom headers spanning more than a single line, you MUST put the X-Face of other custom header text string on one line.

·      Prior to Gravity build 2.9.13, the custom header text can NOT exceed 255 characters. To allow for the "X-Face: " header characters (including the space), the total X-Face string itself MUST be less than or equal to 247 characters. Build 2.9.13 and higher allow longer custom headers, up to 998 characters, including the header field.
