Q: Will Gravity Convert my Databases if I Upgrade?
A: If you are upgrading from Versions 2.7.1 and higher, no conversion is needed. The databases are compatible. Note that this does not apply to the original 2.7 build from 2004 (see below).
From Version 2.9.xx onwards, if it imports an older database, it takes a copy and does not alter the original.

Version 2.7.1 - 2.9.x
The databases are compatible.
Version 2.7 Build 2067 or 2.70.2067 (original SourceForge version 2004)
NOT compatible - the databases should import into newer builds with no problems; however, the databases will be converted. If you did not save a backup you can not to revert to the old version. This means you can NOT replace the gravity executable file with the 2.70 executable (gravity.exe) after using version 2.7.1 or higher. If you have important articles, please save a backup.
Versions 2.0 - 2.6
· Versions 1.0, 2.0 through 2.5 - databases will probably not even import. · Version 2.6, may or may not import - depending on the build
