Mouse Tips

Mouse settings may need to be configured with your mouse settings.
·      You can set the middle mouse wheel or button to perform "Single Key Read." See Tools - Global Options - Navigation and Check the box. You might be able be able to program a side button to do the same, depending on your mouse. Auto-scroll usually works in the article pane.
·      You can "drag" a continuous selection with the mouse. Lets say you want to delete or decode a whole block of articles. Select the first article, but hold down the left mouse button and drag to the end of the selection. You might want to sort articles first so they are listed in a continuous group.
·      To clear a selection in the thread pane, click on another article somewhere outside the selection or press Escape. To avoid downloading or decoding the article, if you are configured to decode with one click, you can RIGHT click the article or use the up/down arrows on keyboard.
·      To use a command on highlighted articles, keep the mouse in the selection.
·      The usual Windows selection modifiers work with the mouse. To select a continuous range, select first article, hold SHIFT and select the last article. To make a multiple non-continuous selection, hold CONTROL while selecting the articles.
