A little DE-evolution per say. I have been putting together old 386's with DOS and Linux. X is a little slow on a 386 but then again, maybe I just need a earlier version of X :) I will have to try my hand with Slackware 1.0... Another plan is to build my home website on a 386 or 386sx - no super fast Xeons here thank you! Mike

It took me some time to get the XF86Setup to come up with the correct settings at 1024x768 on a old cheap flat screen. I am using a SiS GD5430 Chip with 1024k memory.
