slow shutdown
A type of shutdown that does additional flushing operations before completing. Specified by the configuration parameter innodb-fast-shutdown=0 or the command SET GLOBAL innodb-fast-shutdown=0;. Although the shutdown itself can take longer, that time will be saved on the subsequent startup.
