Show or hide the Text pane

Show the Text pane to add or edit text in your SmartArt graphic, or hide the Text pane to see more of your Microsoft Office system document while you work on your SmartArt graphic.

1. Click the SmartArt graphic.
2. Under SmartArt Tools, on the Design tab, in the Create Graphic group, click Text Pane.

   

Tips

• You can close the Text pane by clicking Close in the upper-right corner of the Text pane.

• You can show the Text pane by clicking the control.

  

• You can resize or move the Text pane.
