Remove redaction marks on a selected item

  1. Select the text that is marked for redaction.
  2. On the Review tab, in the Redaction group, click Mark, and then click Remove Mark.

Remove all redaction marks from this document

On the Review tab, in the Redaction group, click Mark, and then click Remove All Marks.

Redaction is the careful editing of a document to remove confidential information. To redact a document, you can download the Microsoft Office Word Redaction Add-in from the site.
