Locate the Product ID for your Office program

The Product ID is specific to your Microsoft Office system license and is verified during product activation. To locate the Product ID for your Office program after the program has been activated, do the following in these Microsoft Office system programs:

Access, Excel, PowerPoint, or Word

1. Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Program Name Options, where Program Name is the name of the program you are in, for example, Word Options.
2. Click Resources, and then click About.

Clip Organizer, InfoPath, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, Project, SharePoint Designer, or Visio

• On the Help menu, click About Program Name, where Program Name is the name of the program you are in, for example, About Microsoft Office Outlook.
