You can link an Outlook item or another Microsoft Office file to one or more records in Business Contact Manager for Outlook.

  1. Select an e-mail message or task, and on the Business Contact Manager toolbar, click Link to Record.

  1. Click the Microsoft Office Button office start, and point to Business Contact Manager.
  2. Click Link to Record.

  1. On the Business Contact Manager toolbar, click Link to a Record.

Search

To locate a specific record, type a name in the Search box.

Folder

Select the type of record. ( Account, Business Contact, Opportunity, or Business Project) that you want to link the item to.

After you select a Folder, then select a record to link the item to.

Tip Click the column heading to sort the records by that column.

Linked records

Link To Select one or more records in the list, and then click Link To.

To unlink an item or file in a list, select the record that you want to remove, and click the Delete button.

New Click this button to create a new record to link to. The new record that opens is of the same record type selected in the Folder list.

Open Click this button to open the record selected in the list.
