Series options
Use these options to change the display of data series or data points in your chart.
Important Depending on the type of your chart, different series options will be available.
Category labels Selected by default, this option displays category labels for the data series. Clear this check box if you want to hide category labels. This option is only available on radar charts.
Angle of first slice
No Rotation to Full Rotation Rotates the selected data series. Move the sliding handle to the rotation degree that you want, or type a number between 0 and 360 degrees. The default setting is 0 degrees. This option is only available for pie or doughnut charts.
Pie Explosion Controls the spacing between the selected data points of the data series and the center of the pie chart. Move the sliding handle to the percentage of explosion that you want, or type a percentage between 0 and 400 in the text box. The default setting is 0%. This option is only available for doughnut charts.
Doughnut Explosion Controls the spacing between the selected data series or data points and the center of the doughnut chart. Move the sliding handle to the percentage of explosion that you want, or type a percentage between 0 and 400 in the text box. The default setting is 0%. This option is only available for pie charts.
Doughnut Hole Size Controls the size of the doughnut hole. Move the sliding handle to the percentage of doughnut hole size that you want, or type a percentage between 10 and 90 in the text box. The default setting is 50%. This option is only available for doughnut charts.
Series Overlap
Separated to Overlapped Controls the spacing between individual data points of the data series that are displayed for each category. Move the sliding handle to the percentage of separation or overlap that you want, or type a percentage of separation or overlap in the Percentage box. Use a negative percentage to separate data points or a positive percentage to overlap them. The default setting is 0%.
Gap Depth
No Gap to Large Gap Determines the spacing between the clusters of data points that are displayed for each category. Move the sliding handle to the percentage of gap width that you want, or type a percentage between 0 and 500 in the Gap Width box. The default setting is 150%. This option is only available for 3-D charts.
Gap Width
No Gap to Large Gap Determines the spacing between the clusters of data points that are displayed for each category. Move the sliding handle to the percentage of gap width that you want, or type a percentage between 0 and 500 in the Gap Width box. The default setting is 150%.
Plot Series On
Primary Axis Selected by default, this option displays selected data series on the primary vertical (value) axis.
Secondary Axis Displays selected data series on the secondary vertical (value) axis, adding this axis to the chart when you plot the first data series on the secondary axis. You can plot one or more data series on the secondary axis.
Size represents
Area of bubbles Selected by default, the entire area of each bubble represents the data that is used to determine the size of the bubble. For example, this option is useful if the data represents a measurement, such as square footage. This option is only available for a bubble chart.
Width of bubbles The width or diameter of each bubble represents the data that is used to determine the size of the bubble, which is useful for comparison purposes. This option is only available for a bubble chart.
Scale bubble size to Scales the bubble size for a data series by a percentage between 0 and 300 that you type in the text box -the larger the percentage, the larger the bubbles. This option is only available for a bubble chart.
Show negative bubbles By default, when an entire data series contains negative bubble sizes, the series is not displayed. If you want to display the negative bubbles in the chart, select the Show Negative Bubbles check box. This option is only available for a bubble chart.
