Select a paper source
Many printers have upper and lower trays that contain different sizes of paper. Matching a form to a paper source ensures that your files are always printed on the correct paper size when you select the form within a program. Do the following in these Microsoft Office system programs:
Word
- On the
Page Layouttab, in thePage Setupgroup, click thePage SetupDialog Box Launcher. - In the
Page Setupdialog box, click thePapertab. - Under
Paper source, click the paper source that you want.
Excel
- On the
Page Layouttab, in thePage Setupgroup, click thePage SetupDialog Box Launcher. - In the
Page Setupdialog box, click theSheettab. - Click
Options. - On the
Paper/Qualitytab, underTray Selection, click the paper source that you want.
Access
- On the
Page Layouttab, in thePage Setupgroup, click thePage SetupDialog Box Launcher. - In the
Page Setupdialog box, click thePagetab. - Under
Paper, click the paper source that you want.
PowerPoint
- Click the
Microsoft Office Button
, and then click Print.Keyboard shortcut To display the
Printdialog box, press CTRL+P. - Click
Properties. - On the
Paper/Qualitytab, underTray Selection, click the paper source that you want. - In the
Page Setupdialog box, click thePagetab. - Under
Paper, click the paper source that you want.
OneNote
- On the
Filemenu, clickPrint.Keyboard shortcut To display the
Printdialog box, press CTRL+P. - Click
Preferences, and then click thePaper/Outputtab. - Click the paper source that you want.
Outlook
- On the
Filemenu, clickPrint.Keyboard shortcut To display the
Printdialog box, press CTRL+P. - Click
Page Setup, and then click thePapertab. - In the
Paper sourcelist, click the paper source that you want.
Project
- On the
Filemenu, clickPage Setup. - Click
Options, and then click thePaper/Outputtab. - Click
Select Paper, and then click the paper source that you want.
Publisher
- On the
Filemenu, clickPrint.Keyboard shortcut To display the
Printdialog box, press CTRL+P. - In the
Publication and Paper Settingsdialog box, underPaper, select the paper source that you want from theSourcelist.
SharePoint Designer
- On the
Filemenu, point toPrint, and then clickPage Setup.Keyboard shortcut To display the
Printdialog box, press CTRL+P. - In the
Print Page Setupdialog box, clickOptions. - Under
Paper, select the paper source that you want from theSourcelist.
Visio
- On the
Filemenu, clickPage Setup.Keyboard shortcut To display the
Printdialog box, press CTRL+P. - On the
Print Setuptab, clickSetup. - In the
Print Setupdialog box, underPaper, select the paper source that you want from theSourcelist.
