You can change the orientation of a worksheet page directly in the worksheet, so that you can see how your worksheet will be printed while you work, or you can select the orientation in the Printer Properties dialog box when you are ready to print.What do you want to do?

- Select the worksheet or worksheets for which you want to change the orientation.
How to select worksheets
To select Do this A single sheet Click the sheet tab.
If you don't see the tab that you want, click the tab scrolling buttons to display the tab, and then click the tab.
Two or more adjacent sheets Click the tab for the first sheet. Then hold down SHIFT while you click the tab for the last sheet that you want to select. Two or more nonadjacent sheets Click the tab for the first sheet. Then hold down CTRL while you click the tabs of the other sheets that you want to select. All sheets in a workbook Right-click a sheet tab, and then click Select All Sheetson the shortcut menu .Tip When multiple worksheets are selected,
[Group]appears in the title bar at the top of the worksheet. To cancel a selection of multiple worksheets in a workbook, click any unselected worksheet. If no unselected sheet is visible, right-click the tab of a selected sheet, and then clickUngroup Sheetson the shortcut menu. - On the
Page Layouttab, in thePage Setupgroup, clickOrientation, and then clickPortraitorLandscape.
Change the page orientation in the Printer Properties dialog box
- Do one of the following:
- To print a partial worksheet, click the worksheet, and then select the range of data that you want to print.
- To print the entire worksheet, click the worksheet to activate it.
- To print a workbook, click any of its worksheets.
- Click
Microsoft Office Button
, and then click Print.Keyboard shortcut You can also press CTRL+P.
- Under
Printer, clickProperties. - On the
Layouttab, underOrientation, clickPortraitorLandscape.Note The name of the tab that displays the orientation options varies, depending on the printer that you are using.
- Click
OK. - In the
Printdialog box, select any other options that you want, and then clickOK.
