Installing Old Versions

Beginning with Version 2.9.1, the installation procedures changed.
The following instructions are for legacy purposes, and should be ignored entirely for versions 2.9.x and higher.
Installing Old Versions (2.7 - 2.8.x)
Download and run the installer. If Gravity exists, the installer detects it. All Gravity files were placed in <install directory>, which by default was "Program Files"
All Registry entries were placed in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MicroPlanet and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\MicroPlanet
Windows Vista
If the installing user is not an administrator, old Gravity versions can be installed outside of the "Program Files" path, such as "c:programs\gravity," or "c:\gravity" to avoid problems with Vista's UAC.
