Conclusion

In this chapter, we created a WFC-style control. You saw how to add a new data property to the control and how to tie this property into the data section of the Properties window. From there, you learned how to convert enumerated data properties from simple integer values into a sophisticated drop-down list containing the names of the properties rather than just numbers.

You also saw how to define your own event class and how to send and receive this event and then how to tie this event into the active properties of the Properties window.

Finally, you learned how to convert a WFC control into an ActiveX control and how to use this control both in Visual J Plus Plus v6 apps and in other Visual Studio 6 languages, such as Visual Basic. Comments
