Keyboard Options
Menu Command: Options | Keyboard
Use Keyboard Options to set keyboard assigments (shortcuts) for functions in GoldWave. The list of current assignments is given in the window with the function in the left column and the shortcut in the right column. Use the mouse or arrow keys to move between items in the list. Shortcuts can be a combination of keystrokes, such as Ctrl+Shift+Up, Ctrl+P, Shift+Enter, etc. The description of the shortcut has to be typed into the box in the left column, so for Ctrl+P, you'd type in C, T, R, L, +, P.
Note that the Left, Right, Page Up, and Page Down keys are used by GoldWave for navigation and scrolling the waveform view and should not be reassigned. Combinations of these keys with Ctrl and Shift are also reserved. The spacebar (Space) is used to activate the buttons in the Control window when that window has the keyboard focus.
Choose OK to save and use keyboard assigments. Use the Defaults button to erase all keyboard assignments so they will be restored to their original, installed settings when GoldWave is restarted.
Use the Load and Save buttons to load or save keyboard assignments from or to a text file.
Use the Search for functions... box and Find button to find functions. Enter "Play", for example, to find playback related functions.
Refer to the GoldWave Manual for additional information about defining shortcuts and assigning special keys and buttons.
