Specifying the batch process output location
After you select all batch options in the Batch Process dialog box, you must select options for saving your files. You can save backup copies of the original files from a batch process. Backup copies of files are placed in an Original Files subfolder in the same folder as each original file.
To back up batch-processed files:
- Select a location for the batch output.
- Select Backups to set your backup options.
- Select how you want to back up the files:
Overwrite Existing Backups overwrites the previous backup file.
Incremental Backups keeps copies of all the backup files. When you run a new batch process, a number is appended to the end of the filename of the new backup copy.
NOTE
If Backup is deselected, batch processing in the same file format overwrites the original file if the name is the same. However, batch processing in a different file format creates a new file and does not move or delete the original file.
- Click Batch to finish the batch process, or click Back to return to the Batch Process dialog box.
