Virtual CloneDrive:

Mount a virtual drive to open and playback ISO image files (CD/DVD images).
What is Virtual CloneDrive
go.tagjag.com - twitter.com - Bowman has produced several excellent screencasts for us in the past. I was only too happy to share this with all of you. The quality is, as usual, excellent! The content is important. Virtual CloneDrive works just like any physical CD or DVD driver. However, it's virtual! All image files made with CloneDrive can be mounted onto a virtual drive from either your hard disk or a network drive. The image can then be used the same way as if it was coming off of a normal CD or DVD drive! chris.pirillo.com - http

Elby Virtual CloneDrive DVD Region and Changes Remaining Reset
Shows how to get the Elby Virtual CloneDrive DVD Region back to "Not Selected" and the "changes remaining" back up to 2. The "changes remaining" being how many times left you are allowed to change the DVD region. Simply delete the value other than "Default" in the key, "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ jnz! " and restart. I used an open source (thus free) program called Regshot to figure out which registry key it was. Had it involved non-registry files, a program called WhatChanged would have been helpful. WhatChanged is also free, and snapshots not only the registry, but also files, and then can compare snapshots. Sorry for the bad audio, my microphone situation is less than optimal. Hopefully I can get a better video in later. Also, what is responsible for this jnz! value? Does Virtual CloneDrive make it? Does Windows make it? It would be interesting if Windows emulates the storing of a region code and the number of region code changes remaining for drives that don't actually store such things, but can play DVDs, if such a DVD drive even exists - and then Windows turns around and says that even if you reinstall Windows or move the drive to another computer, you won't change the number of changes remaining, when in fact that would put it back in that situation. It would be interesting indeed. Anyone know anything about this jnz! ? Is Windows doing it, or is Virtual CloneDrive doing it? Does a value for jnz! appear when things other than Virtual CloneDrive get their region ...
