How to Auto-Organize feature in MediaMonkey

Auto-Organizing Your Music Library --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Highlight the files you'd like to auto-organize. In the top menu, click Tools -- Auto-Organize Files...2. You'll be creating a new destination for your music files. You can either auto-move them there (which also auto-renames them) or auto-copy them there. Select the option of your choice. In this tutorial, we've selected an auto-move.3. Click Configure.4. Click the file icon, then choose the directory you'd like to create the organized library in. Click OK, then click OK.5. If you have duplicate files, the program will let you know. Choose Delete emptied folders to get rid of the old locations of your music files. Click OK.6. If you have duplicate files, a dialog box will come up, asking if you want to replace the files. Click Yes to All.7. If you have accompanying files, a dialog box will come up, asking if you would like to also move these files. Click Move.8. Click the plus to add a new tab.9. In the left-hand menu, click Location, then select the location of the new destination of your music files. Your files will be added to this new tab. Sync Your Phone in MediaMonkey

Syncing Options for Devices --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Connect your device using the cable that came with it, usually a USB cable.2. In the top menu, click Tools -- Options...3. In the left-hand menu, click Portable/Audio Devices if it's not already selected.4. Select your device from the list, then click Configure. 5. Click the Auto-Sync Options tab. From this, you can choose to Auto-Sync the device anytime it's connected. You can also choose to delete tracks not on the device's Auto-Sync list.6. In MediaMonkey Gold, you can click the Auto-Conversion tab. From this, you can set the program to convert songs into certain formats for specific media devices.7. From this window, you can also select music, podcasts, audiobooks and playlists that will sync with your device. In the Playlists tab, click Last 50 played. This will sync the last 50 songs played in MediaMonkey every time you connect your device. Click OK. Syncing the Device --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. In the left-hand menu of the MediaMonkey window, right click the name or icon of your device, then select Auto-Sync.2. Your device will begin syncing.
