Part II. Building Firewalls

This part of the tutorial describes how to build firewalls. It discusses basic network concepts; explains firewall technologies, architectures, and design principles; and describes how packet filtering and proxying systems work. It also presents a general overview of the process of designing and building bastion hosts for firewall configurations, and discusses the specifics of building them in Unix, Linux, Windows, and Windows 2000 environments.
